Your Support Matters...
As we enter the summer season, nonprofits across the valley—including VARD—enter the most critical fundraising period of the year. The Tin Cup Challenge inspires collective community giving to ensure that our local organizations are able to provide services to our community.
Our dedicated staff is busy these days! We spend our days reading application materials and tracking development across Teton Valley. Most days we're in a local government meeting—providing comments and working with the community and decision-makers for positive development outcomes.
With Tetonia facing growth pressure like we have never seen before, our team will be on the frontline putting Teton Valley first. Wastewater treatment issues continued for months, but now we’re seeing compromise on the horizon again and we’re hopeful. We will continue to support decision-makers across the valley and stay engaged in the process. The Forest Service approving Grand Targhee Resort’s full-build alternative comes with many anticipated impacts. We are finalizing our objection letter and continue to meet regularly with our NGO partners.
Our work relies on donations from individuals like you! Please consider VARD in your Tin Cup giving and we will continue to show up for our community! We are here to prioritize and protect Teton Valley.
Many thanks,
Niki, Hanna, Rachel & the VARD Board
