A Message From Dawn Felchle, Board Chair:

Throughout VARD’s existence, we have seen the number of issues our community has faced grow in tandem with the expansion of our valley. We are able to face these challenges together through your continued support both financially and by exercising your public right to speak before and with your elected officials. Your commitment to being a responsible steward of Teton Valley has been felt over the course of the last 25 years of our organization’s history. Our dedicated staff is committed week-in and week-out to being present at public meetings and stating the facts about critical growth issues impacting every facet of life in Teton Valley. This engagement is done in the  hope and spirit of a shared community to guide our decision makers to move this place we call home forward with responsible growth that will stand the test of time for us all and for those who come behind us.

Whether your area of interest is with agricultural rights, wildlife corridors, utility/infrastructure impacts, affordable housing, or the next 100-lot subdivision, VARD will always be here to shine a light on protecting all that we hold sacred. Our work will never be done. We thank you deeply for making all that we have accomplished together possible and stand ready to advocate for our community for many years to come. Your support during Tin Cup is appreciated.

Many thanks,

Dawn Felchle

Board Chair

Thank you, thank you!

In Remembrance of David Page

We lost a friend and colleague in the recent tragic accident on Teton Pass. To us, David was a passionate, effective advocate - dedicated to to inspiring and empowering people to protect America’s wild snowscapes. Please visit Winter Wildlands Alliance HERE to read more about David from our friends at the Winter Wildlands Alliance Team.

Our thoughts are with his family and all his people. Our thoughts are also with the family of the other man who lost his life in the same accident and with the folks recovering from their injuries.

A work session to discuss Teton Pass truck traffic is being planned for early August at the Alta Schoolhouse. We will share details with you when we have them.
