Grand Targhee dEIS Released
March, 21 2025
March 21, the Caribou-Targhee National Forest released the Draft Environmental Statement (dEIS) for Grand Targhee commencing the 90-day comment period. Following the scoping period in 2020, Caribou-Targhee National Forest published a Notice of Intent to prepare an EIS for implementing the 2018 MDP which was anticipated to be released in Spring 2022.

NRO Revision Hearing & New Maverik in Victor?

The NRO map has gone without updates for almost 20 years! Much needed current data was used to guide the creation of a new map that will be used to help advise land use and site planning decisions upon approval. The County Planning and Zoning Commission reviewed the amended map in May and recommended adoption with modifications.
